Weekend should offer a great chance for fishing

The changing weather pattern over the last week has been a welcome relief from last week’s torrential downpours. We’re finally feeling some late June heat for fishermen and fish alike.

Donner Park will get new splash pad

A new splash pad will be installed at Donner Park following a unanimous vote recently by the Atlantic Beach City Commission. The water feature is planned for the 0.6-acre site at George Street and Dutton Island Road.

Eddie Lee Vickers inducted into SJCPAR Hall of Fame
