Season's lone BFAST race set for July 9

Alejandro Escovedo coming to Ponte Vedra

Beaches Photography Club meets Tuesday

New York – Seven North American Soccer League (NASL) clubs moved on in the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday night, advancing to the tournament's fourth round where they will meet MLS competition in exactly two weeks.

Spotted sea trout and blues in the surf

In the surf, anglers are catching spotted sea trout, ladyfish, sharks and bluefish. The water is stirred up and brown with quite a bit of seaweed after the windy conditions last week.

Super Grom Fest takes place Saturday

This Saturday marks the first of three Super Grom Festival events set for this summer and presented by the Florida Surfing Association. The Super Grom Fest series features an introduction to surfing for children 10 years old and under.

Sharks pound Portland Steel

The Jacksonville Sharks used a combination of efficient offense and defensive stops to build a two-score halftime lead on May 21 and never looked back, as Jacksonville defeated the Portland Steel by a 65-34 count in front of 10,208 on Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

Theatre on a Mission to host murder mystery

Theatre on a Mission (TOM) will host a Murder Mystery Musical at the Alhambra Theatre and Dining on Monday, June 20, at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the non-profit group's trip to Kenya in July.
