Big bull reds move up river

The small bait shrimp are thick in the ICW from Vilano through Jacksonville and the flounder are following them. Watch the creek mouths and mud flats during the last of the outgoing tide for bait being hit.  Fan-cast a Pearl White Gulp Swimming Mullet slowly through the area.

Ponte Vedra High School quarterback Nick Tronti wasted no time this summer making his plans for the future. The Sharks star recently announced his commitment to UNC Charlotte, where he plans to attend following his high school days.

BFAST Kids race rescheduled

The Beaches Fine Arts Series has rescheduled its BFAST Kids triathlon due to the sudden rescheduling of the First Coast Kids Triathlon to the planned date. Originally slated for June 12 beginning at 8 a.m., the BFAST Kids race will now take place on July 31 beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Small Steps make big donations in 2016

Since January, the youth-led service group Small Steps has raised more than $15,000 for The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach’s music therapy outreach and Special Olympics.

Robert Cray Band returns to Ponte Vedra
