Fourth annual Kosher Food Festival set for September

Chabad @ the Beaches will host the fourth annual New Age Kosher Food Festival on Sunday, Sept. 11, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Ponte Vedra Cultural Center, giving attendees the opportunity to enjoy an array of kosher and new age foods from around the world.

Canadian rockers to perform at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

Multi-platinum selling pop-rock band Marianas Trench will perform at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall Saturday, July 16, as part of their SPF 80s tour. The tour is in support of the band's newly released fourth studio album, Astoria, which is based on 1980s fantasy adventure films such as The Goonies.

Jacksonville amateur golf championship is this month

The Jacksonville Area Golf Association’s 55th Annual Jacksonville Amateur Championship is set to place at Queens Harbor Yacht & Country Club July 28-30. The tournament features 54 holes of individual stroke play with a 36-hole cut. The field will be capped at 78 players.

Trails meetings set for July 13

St. Johns County, in conjunction with the St. Johns County Trails Coalition, will host a Trails Symposium to discuss the future of non-motorized multi-use trails throughout the county July 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Pedro Menendez High School, located at 600 State Road 206 West.

Super Grom Fest hits the waves for the second time

On June 25, several young surfers hit the waves during the second of three Super Grom Festival events scheduled for this summer.  The popular event geared toward future surfers was held on the south side of the Jacksonville Beach Pier.

Photography club meets Tuesday

Fourth of July entertaining can be patriotic and fun

Fun and food in the summertime always brings lots of enjoyment!  We’re talking to the tune of 155 million hot dogs and 167 million dollars spent on watermelon. Plus, the fourth of July is the biggest holiday of the year for beer sales.
