Jacksonville Beach to update plans for downtown

Harbor Lights files plans for mixed-use development

Cadenza Partners LLC has submitted plans for Harbor Lights Jacksonville, located on Beach Boulevard just west of the Intracoastal Waterway. The development is currently in the permitting phase, with initial development expected to begin sometime in 2022.

Girl Scouts build Little Free Library

Girl Scout Troop 2278 recently built and installed a Little Free Library on the Seabreeze Elementary campus. The troop, made up of 11 girls who attend Seabreeze and Jacksonville Beach Elementary, chose the Little Library as a service project to give back to their community.

Mickler's bathroom renovation beginning

St. Johns County is planning to replace the existing outdated wooden restrooms at Mickler Beachfront Park with a modern masonry restroom that is fully ADA compliant. In addition, the facility will have a new water cooler with bottle filler.
