The Floozies will perform at The Amp

On Wednesday, April 22, electronic-funk duo The Floozies will bring the “Dayglow Funk Tour” to the Backyard Stage at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, with Sunsquabi + Nobide. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the St.

26.2 with DONNA concludes marathon weekend

The 26.2 with DONNA began at 7:30 a.m. Feb. 9. Runners were cheered on by crowds along the route. Many runners and onlookers dressed up in pink to show their support in the fight to finish breast cancer.

After-school activities canceled in Duval County

Due to expected severe weather later this afternoon, the Duval County School District is cancelling all after school activities. Because of expectations for very extreme weather impacting the Jacksonville area later today, Duval County Public Schools is canceling all after school activities.

Record fair coming to St. Augustine

The Spring 2020 St. Augustine Record Fair, presented by local record store ToneVendor, returns to The St. Augustine Amphitheatre Sunday, March 22. The biannual St. Augustine Record Fair is a free, family-friendly event that is open to the public. It will be held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Former Senator is Ivy League champion

Kayley Delay, former Fletcher Senator who competes for the Yale Bulldogs, is the 2019 Ivy League Cross Country Champion. Delay had a time of 20:31 on the 6k course at Van Cortland Park in the Bronx, N.Y., to claim the top spot.  She was also awarded 2019 Ivy League Fall All Academic All-Ivy.

Carver Center's new lead uses sports to connect with youths

Growing up in a single parent household near one of the biggest projects in Durham, N.C., Ronnie Mason developed a passion for sports that gave him focus and helped him stay out of trouble.

Golden Retriever travels internationally to be with Atlantic Beach family

When Lee and Leah Andrews of Atlantic Beach lost their beloved Golden Retriever last year, it left an empty space in their home and in their hearts.
