BEAM experiencing high demand for assistance

Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM) continues to experience a significant increase in requests for financial assistance over the past year, with the last three months seeing requests as high as during the pandemic.

Beaches offering support to storm-damaged areas

Beaches officials are pledging to support the storm-ravaged regions of Southwest Florida as they begin the recovery from Hurricane Ian. The communities devastated by the category four storm didn’t look that much different than Jacksonville Beach before landfall.
