Jacksonville Beach businesses may get help from grant program

A new initiative will help enhance and improve businesses located within the Central Business District in Jacksonville Beach. The Jacksonville Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) outlined the Façade Beautification Grant Program at its Sept. 26 meeting.

Fair closed Nov. 10

Jacksonville, St. Johns County suspend garbage collection

Both Jacksonville and St. Johns County have suspended curbside garbage, recycling and yard debris collection for Thursday, Nov. 10, due to Tropical Storm Nicole. Residents originally scheduled for Thursday collection will have service Saturday, Nov. 12.
