Search continues as debris from missing boat is found

Search efforts were underway Nov. 20 in St. Augustine following the discovery of debris confirmed to be from a vessel missing for more than a month. A fish bin and buoy balls from the Carol Ann fishing boat were found about 18 miles off the coast of St. Augustine.

A new incentive package will raise the starting salary for new Jacksonville Beach police officers in an effort to improve recruitment and retention in Jacksonville Beach. The City Council unanimously approved a 3 percent salary increase for all new Jacksonville Beach police officers.
