Fletcher among schools awarded Purple Star School designation

On Nov. 21, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that an additional 73 Florida schools have been awarded the Purple Star School of Distinction due to their extensive support for military families. There are now nearly 200 schools throughout the state that have earned a Purple Star Schools designation.

New filings in the Jared Bridegan murder case are seeking to remove the current prosecutors from the case based on the use of wiretaps and phone search warrants to obtain information that ultimately led to the arrest of the victim’s ex-wife, who is charged in a murder-for-hire plot in his death.
