All departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, St. Johns County administrative offices, library branches and bookmobiles, the Supervisor of Elections Office, the Property Appraiser’s Office, the Tax Collector’s Office, and the Clerk of Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s Office will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
St. Johns County libraries will resume regular business hours Saturday, Nov. 25, and all other offices will resume regular business hours Monday, Nov. 27.
Garbage and recycling will not be collected Nov. 23; collections will be delayed one day, with all routes being completed by Nov. 25. The Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road transfer stations will be closed Nov. 23. The transfer stations will resume standard business hours Nov. 24.
Residents can download the Recycle Coach app or visit www.recyclestjohns.com to obtain curbside collection schedules, as well as sign up for alerts and learn how to properly dispose of different household waste materials.
