Clays for a Cause held in St. Augustine

$300,000 raised for Monique Burr Foundation

Ponte Vedra girls basketball falls to St. Joseph's

Without senior Captain Trish Balser, the Ponte Vedra Lady Sharks basketball team (4-3) traveled to county rival St. Joseph’s Academy (9-0) Dec. 12. Ponte Vedra started the game flat, committing 18 turnovers in the first half and trailing 15-22 at halftime.

FHS baseball team gives back this holiday season

The Fletcher High School baseball team, along with freshman Interact club member Ryanne Smith, decided this year they were going to give back. They worked through United Way's Adopt A Family for Christmas and adopted three families to ship items to for the holiday season.

Applications available for FWC’s 2020-21 High School Fishing Program

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) 2020-21 High School Fishing Program offers high school fishing clubs or teams the opportunity to apply for the Florida Sport Fish Restoration R3 Fishing Grant.

Lady Sharks basketball team defeats Bartram

The Ponte Vedra Lady Sharks (4-2) traveled to county rival Bartram High School (4-4) Dec. 8. On Bartram’s Senior Night, Ponte Vedra came with full court press and a high movement offense. The athletic Bartram team struggled to get points and the Lady Shark took a halftime lead of 29-19.

FWC celebrates record-setting year for Catch a Florida Memory

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) recently gave a “reel” big thank you to nearly 1,400 Catch a Florida Memory participants and partners who helped the commission reach more than 15,000 saltwater fish submissions and 2,800 achievements recognized so far.

PV girls weightlifting team scores win

The 2020-2021 Ponte Vedra High School girls weightlifting team defeated Fletcher High School Dec. 8 with a final score of 65-7. The Sharks are scheduled to take on Pedro Menendez Dec. 16. Head coach for Ponte Vedra is Mackensie Rush.
