Casting Crowns scheduled to perform in St. Augustine

Contemporary Christian and Christian rock band Casting Crowns is scheduled to perform Oct. 18 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340C A1A S., St. Augustine, at 7 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.). Ticket prices range from $29.50 to $104.

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry announced that beaches and parks throughout Duval County will reopen Friday, April 17, at 5 p.m., with restrictions for essential activities only.

Beaches Museum working to preserve information

Local historians are capturing history in real time and documenting the impact of COVID-19 at the Beaches community. Karen Lamoree, archivist at the Beaches Museum, said preserving images and communications creates a snapshot of experiences of those who lived it for future generations.

Neptune Beach police looking for shooting suspects

On April 14 at 5:50 p.m., three black male suspects forcibly entered an occupied apartment at the Park Place Apartments located at 1000 3rd Street in Neptune Beach. The suspects entered the apartment by breaking open a locked door.
