Exchange Club names 2020 Students of the Year

The Exchange Club of Jacksonville Beaches has selected Fletcher High School  seniors Carolina Sanchez and Connor Moore, and Ponte Vedra High School seniors Grace Littler and Joey DePorre, for their 2020 Student of the Year awards.

Youth spearheads food drive efforts for BEAM

The Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM) staff and volunteers continue to serve the influx of families in Jacksonville’s Beaches-area communities who have been hard-hit by the economic impact of COVID-19.

Jacksonville Beach tables fiscal plans during COVID uncertainty

Annual budget projections show that Jacksonville Beach is on track to be debt free as of Oct. 1, 2020, which is expected to free up an excess of $4 million for utility projects – $2.5 million for Beaches Energy Services, and $1.5 million for future water and sewer improvements.

Blue Angels fly over Beaches

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels flew over Jacksonville May 8. The 20-minute flight to honor COVID-19 first responders began at Naval Station Mayport and then headed to the Beaches area.
