St. Johns County issues Presidents Day holiday office hours

All departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners and Administrative offices, St. Johns County library branches, the Property Appraiser’s office, the Tax Collector’s office and the Supervisor of Elections’ office will be closed Monday, Feb.

Atlantic Beach wins legal action against property owner

Livingston joins Neptune Beach City Council

Neptune Beach officials have elected a new member to fill Seat 5 on the City Council. Nia Livingston was elected Feb. 7 following the resignation of Vice Mayor Fred Jones on Dec. 17, 2021. The term expires in November 2022.

Join Bow Wow Walk 2022 to benefit pet programs

Community Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation is hosting the second annual Bow Wow Walk 2022, a virtual marathon. This month-long walk, marathon challenge is a benefit for the Community Hospice & Palliative Care pet programs.

Grants available to developers in Jacksonville Beach downtown

Beautification and retail grants are among the incentives available to developers in downtown Jacksonville Beach. Certain projects may also be entitled to a special permitting process that may include reduced fees or expedited issuance.

Stakeholder meetings will continue in Jacksonville Beach

Jacksonville Beach officials will continue to host a virtual series of stakeholder meetings through the month of March to discuss a number of upcoming citywide projects. Each meeting will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. using the Zoom platform.

Arrests made in prostitution investigation in Atlantic Beach

A prostitution investigation resulted in two arrests at an Atlantic Beach massage parlor. The 59-year-old owner and one of the masseuses at Ocean Massage located in the Shoppes of Northshore were arrested on Jan. 27 and charged with prostitution, according to the Atlantic Beach Police Department.
