Arts Market holding ceramic workshop

The Atlantic Beach Arts Market, 1805 Mayport Road, Atlantic Beach, will hold a two-day ceramic cat or dog workshop Wednesday, Nov. 8 and 15, from 10 a.m. to noon. On Nov. 8, participants will make a ceramic cat or dog with instructor assistance, as needed; on Nov. 15, the pieces will be glazed.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service promotes public access to hunting and fishing

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently announced 48 new distinct hunting opportunities on approximately 3,000 acres within the National Wildlife Refuge System. The announcement follows public comment and local engagement on the phase-out of lead ammunition and tackle.

7th Annual Cathedral Arts Project Golf Tournament raises $119,360

The Cathedral Arts Project (CAP) announced Oct. 24 that the organization raised $119,360 in support of arts education at its 7th Annual CAP Golf Tournament, presented by Fickling Construction. The event, chaired by CAP board member Alan Fickling, was held Oct. 2 at Deerwood Country Club.
