Flounder bite is still excellent in Intracoastal

Inshore Capt. Steve Crowder says the flounder bite is still excellent. Most have been the smaller chips up to 13-16 inchers, but he has been getting a number of decent three-to-four-pound fish mixed in. Capt. Steve says you'll need to cover a lot of area if you want to fill the box.

A new business in Jacksonville Beach is capturing the riddle-solving fun of video games and brain-teasers in a novel way. Mind Bender Escape Rooms offers life-size puzzles in which groups use clues to escape from uniquely themed rooms before the time runs out.

USA Men's National Team to play World Cup qualifier at EverBank Field Sept. 6

The United States Men's National Team will play its final match of the Semifinal Round of the 2018 World Cup Qualifying at EverBank Field on Sept. 6.  The USMNT will be facing Trinidad & Tobago in a match that could be vital in advancing to the final round of World Cup Qualifying.

Mayport Village Story Tellers to be featured

North Florida's fish camps provide authentic food and atmosphere

While you can’t judge a book by its cover, you can almost always judge a fish camp by its exterior. In the 1930s and '40s, it was the lonely fisherman awaiting a nibble, his reel hanging over the river hoping for some action, who birthed the first fish camps.

Sharks focused on improving each week

The Ponte Vedra High School football team has some unfinished business entering the 2016 season. The defending District 4-5A champions are coming off a season that was a complete turnaround from the previous years. That wasn’t enough.

New leadership looks to lift Senators

Despite coming off one of its worst seasons in recent memory, the Fletcher High School football team is still loaded with confidence and ready to take on the new season. The Senators look to wipe any memory of the 5-5 record it produced in the 2015 season.
