Singer-songwriter Chris Cornell will perform at Florida Theatre

Multi Grammy Award-winning and Golden Globe-nominated singer and songwriter Chris Cornell will perform at the Florida Theatre on Friday, June 17. Cornell is the front man and lead guitarist of Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of The Dog.

Festival season begins with Salt Life Music Festival

The inaugural Salt Life Music Festival takes place Saturday, June 18, from noon to 10 p.m. at the SeaWalk Pavilion. Family-friendly entertainment will include live music, marketplace vendors, food vendors and more. A sunrise yoga session will be held before the festival at 6:15 a.m.

Janice Ryalls won’t tell you what your dreams mean if you attend her workshop at Unity of Jacksonville Beach this month. Instead, she said she believes in helping you determine that meaning yourself.   “The process to capture your dreams,” she said, comes from skills she will introduce.

Friends plan Seuss-tastic Saturday at Beaches Branch Library

Friends of the Beaches Branch Library will sponsor another Seuss-tastic Saturday on Saturday, June 11, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Children, parents, and grandparents are invited to enjoy Seuss-themed stories, games, videos, and arts and crafts activities.

Evening in Wine Country aims to raise funds for Boys and Girls Club

An Evening in Wine Country will return for a fifth year on Friday, June 10, at the Adam M. Herbert University Center at the University of North Florida, with proceeds to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida.
