Small Steps make big donations in 2016

Since January, the youth-led service group Small Steps has raised more than $15,000 for The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach’s music therapy outreach and Special Olympics.

Curry to detail pension tax plan to Beaches

Youth Citizenship Award presented

The Jean Ribault Chapter, NSDAR, presented the Youth Citizenship Award at Atlantic Beach Elementary to fifth-grader Traci Schrock. The award recognizes qualities such as honor, service, courage, leadership and patriotism.

Re-entry passes are available for free at all locations of the St. Johns County Tax Collector for island residents and businesses. In the event of an evacuation, only those with re-entry passes will be allowed back on the island after the evacuation.

Woofstock to benefit pet rescue group

The 2016 "Woofstock" will be held Saturday, June 25, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Klutho Park, 204 W. 3rd St., Jacksonville. The event will feature a cutest dog contest, dog kissing booth, pet photo booth, dog wash station, silent auction and more.
