The Grand Bohemian Gallery will present "Finding a Voice Through Abstraction," an art exhibit by the gallery’s newest artist, Gentry Groshell. An artist reception will be held on Friday, July 1, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the gallery.

Policy on park gates under review in Atlantic Beach

The Atlantic Beach City Commission will discuss automating the gates at Dutton Island and Tideview Parks to prevent users at the parks from getting locked in as the gates are locked an hour after sunset.

Art Fest accepting contest entries through Friday

Bankers Life, a national life and health insurance brand, has named Ponte Vedra Beach resident Gerald “Jerry” Glynn at its Top Territory Vice President.  Glynn, leading the company’s southeast sales territory, received the prestigious award based on the territory’s sales growth during 2015.

Louis J. Catania, O.D., F.A.A.O., D.Sc. (HON) of Atlantic Beach will be inducted into the National Optometry Hall of Fame June 30 at the American Optometric Association Congress in Boston – the highest national honor bestowed upon an optometric physician for their career accomplishments.
