Construction begins at Jarboe Park

Neptune Beach’s Jarboe Park undergoing a reconstruction project . Some highlights of the project include four new pickleball courts, resurfaced tennis courts and beach volleyball courts with new lighting. A new basketball court and playground equipment will be installed, as well as new pavilions.

Teens to discuss reopening schools

Teen influencers in the I’m A Star Foundation will host a live debate about reopening schools amidst a pandemic. The public is invited to watch and vote for STAR students ages 13 to 18 as they exchange ideas Thursday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. The event will be streamed from Zoom to YouTube Live.
