Back-to-School Book Bash held at Donner Park

Paddleout, celebration of life set for Jimmy Plumer

A paddleout and celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at 5th Avenue South in Jacksonville Beach to honor the life of skateboarding legend Jimmy Plumer. A reception will follow from noon to 2 p.m. at Surfer The Bar. Both events are open to the public. Plumer passed away on July 28.
