St. Johns County temporarily closes Wildwood Drive

St. Johns County will temporarily close Wildwood Drive from Tuesday, Aug. 8, to Friday, Aug. 18, weather permitting, for emergency repairs to an underground drainage pipe. The repairs will require a complete closure of Wildwood Drive at the location of the affected pipe, about 1,000 feet west of U.

Up to $60,000 offered to Florida teachers to educate students on water resources

North Florida Land Trust CEO speaks at Rotary meeting

The Aug. 1 meeting of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville-Oceanside featured Allison DeFoor, CEO of the North Florida Land Trust. DeFoor provided an overview of the mission and work of the NFLT, as well as information on a recent acquisition of 219 acres of land owned by the Bull Family.

Registration open for Citizen Police Academy

Her remains were discovered more than a year later along a wooded stretch of San Pablo Road. Today, her family is still searching for answers to her unsolved murder.
