It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas by the sea, with 12 new hand-painted surfboards installed throughout the Beaches Town Center (BTC). Artists were invited to submit their designs to be featured on surfboards as part of the BTC “Christmas in July” art initiative.

Recreational harvest of flounder reopens Dec. 1

The recreational harvest of flounder in all Florida state and federal waters will reopen Dec. 1. The minimum size limit for flounder is 14 inches total length and the daily recreational bag limit is five fish per person. To learn more about current recreational flounder regulations, visit MyFWC.
