Cradle Creek Preserve will close Monday for 30 days for scheduled maintenance and repairs on the boardwalk.
The 43.3-acres of primarily undisturbed land along the Intracoastal Waterway features a system of nature trails and elevated boardwalks.

St. Johns County Pet Center cats looking for forever homes

The Friends of the St. Johns County Pet Center is sponsoring $10 cat and kitten adoptions at the St. Johns County Pet Center, 130 N. Stratton Road, through Sept. 30. The fee includes spaying/neutering, initial vaccines and microchipping. The Pet Center is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

MSD agrees to pay more for garbage collection
