The inaugural Beaches Tour of Homes will take place this Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The one-day, self-guided tour of Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach homes will showcase the historical and architectural elements that make each home unique.

The Atlantic Beach City Commission came to a consensus Monday to move forward with the Safe Routes to School project, giving staff the go ahead to work with designers to develop 60 percent plans.
