Margaritaville opens in Jacksonville Beach

The Margaritaville Beach Hotel welcomed its first guests Tuesday after opening least a month ahead of schedule. The $50 million beachfront resort hotel at 715 1st St. N. boasts 202 guest rooms and suites, as well as the two-story LandShark Bar & Grill.

Flagler Health + and St. John County offering COVID-19 testing

Flagler Health +, in partnership with St. Johns County, is offering COVID-19 testing between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday beginning Feb. 1 at the St. Johns County Agricultural Center, 3111 Agricultural Center Dr.

Hastings Branch Library will close temporarily

The Hastings Branch Library will be temporarily closed for routine maintenance from Tuesday, Feb. 2, through Friday, Feb. 5. During this closure, no items will be due and patrons will not accrue late fees.

Jacksonville Beach paid parking operations to continue

Paid parking will remain “status quo” in Jacksonville Beach. City officials Jan. 11 reviewed the program implemented in public parking lots throughout the downtown area. Jacksonville Beach residents can register vehicle's license plates linked to their home address to park at no charge.
