Fletcher High law team wins state finals

For the second time in three years, Fletcher High will represent the state of Florida at the National High School Mock Trial Championships in May.

Ponte Vedra High takes part in Chinese competition

Communion offered to voters

First Christian Church of the Beaches, 2125 Oceanfront, offered communion to voters on March 15’s election day. The Rev. Nathan Loewen explained, “We believe we are here to make disciples for Jesus Christ and we wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to reach people and advance the Kingdom.

Whiting display at Grune Family Gallery

Visual artist Anthony Whiting is displaying his work until March 26 in the Grune Familly Gallery at Players by the Sea in Jacksonville Beach. Whiting was born in Mexico and has lived in Latin America, North Africa, Asia, Italy, Sweden and England. He received a B.Arch.

Egg hunt set for Jacksonville Beach

The city of Jacksonville Beach, and Department of Recreation Parks and Ocean Rescue, will host the 33rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26, at 10 a.m. at South Beach Park, located at 2508 South Beach Pkwy. Sponsored by the American Legion Post 129, the egg hunt is free to all participants.
