The Goddard School in Ponte Vedra held a Trash to Trendy Recycle Fashion Show. Students walked the runway wearing outfits created from recycled materials. The students also participated in recycle-related activities.

May designated 'Older Americans Month'

The St. Johns County Board of County Commissions issued a proclamation designating May 2019 as “Older Americans Month.” The proclamation urged residents to take time during the month of May to “recognize older adults and people who serve them as essential and valuable members of our community.

Clay Humane encourages families to prepare pets for hurricane season

Clay Humane, a nonprofit animal clinic located in Orange Park, is offering tips to prepare pets as hurricane season begins in Northeast Florida. The Atlantic Hurricane season starts June 1, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
