FWC announces 2024 Lionfish Challenge

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) recently announced the 2024 Lionfish Challenge. The Lionfish Challenge is a free summer-long lionfish tournament open to recreational and commercial competitors of all ages around the state of Florida.

The Sandcastle Contest returned April 27 in Jacksonville Beach. The first-place winners in the group category were Liam Zaenglein, Shannon Mullen, Austin Williams, and Jeff and Amy Brown.
