St. Johns County holding public auction May 11

St. Johns County will auction its surplus goods to the public on Saturday, May 11, at 2416 Dobbs Road in St. Augustine. The revenue generated from the auction goes into the county’s general fund. An early preview will be held Friday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the same location.

Bed and breakfast proposed for Neptune Beach home

The Neptune Beach Community Development Board will consider a request to convert a residential home into a bed and breakfast. Douglas Driver III is seeking approval for an application for a preliminary development plan to establish the Driver Inn at 108 Orange St.

A $10 million project to renovate the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is under way. The concert venue closed its doors May 1 to make way for the improvements, which will take up to a year to complete.
