Patriotic performances by the Fletcher High School Marching Band highlighted a celebration at the Neptune Beach Winn-Dixie store recently.
The store launched a six-week community donation program to benefit Folds of Honor and its mission to provide educational scholarships to children of military members.
Highlights of the program included a ceremonial unfurling of a 25-foot American flag from the store roof, and remarks from country music star John Rich via Skype on a Jumbotron.
