Julia Jackson Christian Preston McAfee, 97, died peacefully Wednesday morning, March 2, 2016, at the Carol Woods Retirement Community in Chapel Hill, N.C. She was the widow of James Byington McAfee and the daughter of Edmund Randolph and Julia Jackson Christian Preston.

NORTHUP, DR. HARRY MARTIN

Dr. Harry Martin Northup, 72, of Atlantic Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 6th, 2016 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Martin was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on December 28th, 1943 to Harry Leon Northup and Janice Fleeta Northup, both of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

WILSON, MAUREEN

Maureen Wilson passed away March 5, 2016. She was born June 2, 1925 in Montgomery, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin and son Greg Wilson. She is survived by her son David Wilson (Sandra), 3 grandsons Christopher, Travis and Bradley (Ellen) Wilson and their mother Lynda Wilson.

Robert “Bob” Gammie of Jacksonville Beach, Florida passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Bob was born in Stanford, CT on September 26, 1953 to Ruth and Stu Gammie. He graduated from Fletcher High School and went to the University of South Florida.

Joseph E. McCarthy, 97, of Atlantic Beach, Florida, affectionately known as “Papa” to his loving family passed away Monday, February 29, 2016. He was the second son of the late Joseph and Helen Ray McCarthy. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University with AB and LLB degrees in 1941.
