The International Olympic Committee announced Lawrence (Lance) Tan, a resident of Ponte Vedra, as one of the next generation of 25 IOC Young Leaders who have been selected for the 2021-2024 IYL programme supported by Worldwide Olympic Partner Panasonic Corporation. Tan, a recruited NCAA Division 1 fencer, is a sophomore pre-med student at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
