The 11th Annual Big Bang 5K and one-mile fun run will be held on the flat and fast roads of Ponte Vedra Beach at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 27. This is the only 5K in Jacksonville of this weekend and has featured some of Jacksonville finest runners over the years.
The start and finish is at Christ Episcopal Church at 400 San Juan Dr., and features a chip start. The chip start will allow you to social distance and start when you are comfortable. Hand sanitizer will also be available; you must supply your own mask if you deem it necessary.
Early entrant will receive a T-shirt, and awards will be presented to the first-place male and female overall, masters and in age groups. Registration and detailed information can be found at BigBang5K.itsyourrace.com. Race day registration and packet pick up will begin at 7 a.m.
