Last Friday night at Clay High, the Sharks won the District 5-5A championship with a lopsided victory over the Falcons. Rachel Aspinwall led PV with 17 points while Christi Begemann added 13. Ponte Vedra (19-9) is set to host Gainesville Eastside (15-8) in tonight’s regional quarterfinal round of the state playoffs.
