The Ponte Vedra Lady Sharks lacrosse team travelled to Wolfson recently. The Lady Sharks dominated the Wolves, and saw their hard work pay off, winning with a final score of 18-0. Multiple Ponte Vedra players scored in the game, including Pierson Schuchart and Tori Balser, both with two goals each.
Ponte Vedra also hosted Lassiter High School recently. The Lady Sharks came out with crisp passing and aggressive defense. At the end of regulation, the score was tied 10-10.
The overtime frame saw an intense back and forth shoot out. The Sharks' freshman, Tori Balser, was able to scoop up the ball and streak down the field. She made a hesitation move on the last defender, head fake on the goalie and put the ball in the back of the net with 28 seconds left on the clock to secure the Ponte Vedra win.
