Pier reopens for fishing

The newly-renovated Jacksonville Beach Pier reopened for fishing following a soft launch for pedestrian traffic only. The pier will be free and open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with public restrooms available in the adjacent beach parking lot.
