The Wahoo Shootout wrapped up with another year of record fish, further cementing Northeast Florida as a world-class destination for wahoo fishing. The winner this year, Team “Git Witt It,” led by Captain Stewart Witt, set a new tournament record with a massive 318.54-pound, three-fish aggregate, with their biggest fish tipping the scales at 129.26 pounds. The fishing has been incredible the past week, with action from the creeks to the ledge. It’s been breezy with brief windows to get offshore, but the bites have been wide open on the days you could fish. Unfortunately, the forecast for the coming weekend isn’t very favorable, with a front coming
