The Beaches Kiwanis Club is stepping up its fundraising efforts to benefits scholarships for local students. The third annual Beaches Kiwanis Walkathon will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at Oceanfront Park, located at 429 1st St. S. in Jacksonville Beach. Registration will be open until 11 a.m. The cost is $25 per person.
