Edith M. Wilder, 94, of Jacksonville Beach, FL passed away May 14, 2016. She was born in West Virginia on May 30, 1921. A longtime resident of Jacksonville Beach, she joined St. Paul's Catholic Church in 1967 and was the owner of Beauty Boutique hair salon. Edith had a passion for people and everyone she met. She enjoyed gardening and her animals and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was the widow of William H. Wilder and is survived by her daughter, Patricia Milstead and numerous relatives out-of-state.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach with Fr. William Kelly presiding. She will be entombed at Greenlawn Cemetery.
