OWENS, WILLIAM “BILLY” E.

William “Billy” E. Owens, 51, husband of Laurie Salvo Owens, of Summerville, SC passed away January 4, 2016.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday afternoon, January 30, 2016 at 3 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
Billy was born December 2, 1964 in Charleston, SC. He served in the US Navy and worked at Boeing in the Composite Fabrication and AFT Departments. He always enjoyed surfing and making people laugh.
In addition to his wife, Laurie, of Summerville, Billy is survived by his parents, William E. Rudd and Edie Rudd of Edisto; son, William “Lil Billy” Owens of Thomson, GA; daughter, Amber Owens of Summerville; 2 brothers, William “Ernie” Rudd of Cross and Phillip Rudd of Edisto; 2 sisters, Debbie “Lil Deb” Owens of Jacksonville, FL and Sherri Rudd of Cross; and his grandson, Jayce. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Pate and Agnes Owens.
