Patricia E. Zipperer, 78, passed away June 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 1, 1939 in Savannah, GA. She spent 32 years living in Blakely, GA where she owned and operated the “School of Dance Arts.

CDR John “Jack” Brownlee Taylor, USN Ret., age 87, passed away at his home on Friday, April 15, 2017 in Atlantic Beach, FL, surrounded by his loving family after a heroic fight with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

SUMMERS, COLLIER

Collier Summers, aged 75, of Atlantic Beach, FL passed away on the morning of Palm Sunday, April 9th, 2017 following emergency heart surgery in Tallahassee, FL. He was born in 1942 to Leila Stephens Summers and William Ormond Summers, who was a wildlife warden at Myakka State Park at the time.

Mary Lea Morrison, 46, passed away April 11, 2017 after a two-year battle with breast cancer. Mary was a life long resident of the beaches, and graduated from Fletcher High School in 1988.

Allison Lea-Potts Blackwell Hodge, 26, passed away March 29, 2017. She was born in Pensacola before moving to the beaches area with her family where she graduated from Fletcher high school.

MARY LOU PAPY BULL

Mary Lou Papy Bull, 79, passed away on March 25, 2017 at the McGraw Center of Community Hospice after a long illness. Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Eugene and Juanita Papy and grew up in Tampa, Florida. Mary Lou was a wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed life to the fullest.

BARNES, KATELYNN DANIELLE

Katelynn Danielle Barnes joined her loved ones in heaven on March 16, 2017. Her life was cut short unexpectedly in a fatal car accident near Mobile, Alabama.  Katelynn was born on November 9, 2000 in Jacksonville Beach.

WOESSNER, PAUL MATTHEW

Paul Matthew Woessner Sr., 84, passed away on Sunday, March 5th, 2017. He was born on September 4, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Matthew Gunther and Freida Frances Woessner. He graduated from Carl Schurz High School and went on to attend Northwestern University.

Mary Elizabeth Gudel Pope, born August 12, 1920 in Hixon, Tennessee, passed away at her residence in Neptune Beach, Florida on March 9, 2017. Mary graduated from Hixon High School where she was a member of the debate team and served as a faculty representative on graduation night.
