St. Johns County issues Christmas and New Year’s holiday office hours

In observance of the Christmas holiday, all departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, St. Johns County administrative offices, library branches, the Supervisor of Elections Office and the Property Appraiser’s Office will be closed Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 24 through 26. The offices will resume standard business hours Friday, Dec. 27.
The Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Dec. 24 and 25, resuming normal business hours Dec. 26.
The Clerk of Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s Office will be closed Dec. 25, resuming normal business hours Dec. 26.
Garbage, recycling and yard waste will not be collected Dec. 25. Beginning Dec. 26, collections will be delayed one day with all routes being completed by Saturday, Dec. 28. The Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road transfer stations will be closed Dec. 25 and will resume standard business hours Dec. 26.

All government offices will resume standard hours Thursday, Jan. 2.
All St. Johns County library branches will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, and remain closed through Jan. 1. All libraries will resume standard business hours Jan 2.
