A toddler died Sept. 5 after she was found unresponsive at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville Beach. Police received a 911 call for service at 2:40 p.m. at 1438 8th Ave. N.
Investigators said the 2-year-old girl was left in a vehicle in the parking lot of the church, which also operates a childcare facility. According to police, the death appears to be heat-related.
