Jacksonville Beach police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead during a family party being held at a short-term rental property. According to police, officers responded to a report of gunshots Aug. 25 around 11:10 p.m. and discovered a person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at the property located in the 1600 block of Ocean Pond Court.
