Atlantic Beach officials are opening the floor to adding in-house counsel to the city staff. Commission members passed a resolution 3-1 authorizing city staff to seek proposals for a city attorney and supporting paralegal for a minimum of 20 hours per week with the option for full-time if decided by the city officials. Whether or not to provide benefits would also be considered.
