Jacksonville Beach officials recently moved to give up a portion of city-owned right-of-way to accommodate a new townhome development. The City Council voted 4-3 in favor of the resolution, with Sandy Golding, Georgette Dumont and Mayor Chris Hoffman casting the dissenting votes.
