A legal action filed against an Atlantic Beach property owner for violating the tree ordinance was recently decided in favor of the city. The special magistrate for the Code Enforcement Board ruled on Jan. 27 that an Atlantic Beach property owner illegally removed 20 trees from their 19th Street property without a permit.
