St. Johns County beaches are experiencing tidal flooding, especially in the access ramp areas. As a result, county staff had to temporarily close all vehicular on-ramp gates on Friday.
Beachgoers should expect intermittent closures to vehicular on-ramps throughout the weekend. Toll attendants will continue to staff the access ramp areas. St. Johns County will monitor the conditions and will reopen the on-ramp gates as the tide recedes.
